The Ocean Grove Breakers Basketball Club was established in 2022, welcoming junior players and existing teams to join a community focused basketball club competing in the Bellarine Peninsula Basketball Association. Since then, we've experienced incredible growth. By 2026, our club has expanded to 86 teams and now proudly competes in both the Bellarine and Geelong competitions.

Our mission is simple: to make basketball accessible to everyone in our community. We are committed to providing a fun, inclusive and supportive environment where players of all ages and abilities can develop their skills, build friendships and enjoy the game. We believe in promoting teamwork, respect, fair play and healthy competition, both on and off the court.

As Ocean Grove continues to grow, the demand for indoor sporting facilities has outpaced supply. The Breakers are committed to being a strong voice for our community, advocating for additional basketball facilities to ensure local players have the opportunities they deserve.
